"Translating Livia Ming"

This film is a BFA thesis project from Elon University. It follows a young woman who was adopted at a young age as she works to understand her relationship with her birth country and personal identity.

"To The Peak" - BEA Award of Excellence

Jeremy Palladino and I collaborated to create this short film for the Aesthetics class at Elon University. It went on to win an ‘Award of Exleence’ from the Broadcast Education Association and other awards and honors.

"Quick Fix" - CMF Jury Award

This film was created in less than a week for a student film competition called ‘Campus Movie Fest.’ We created this with no budget, flying by the seat of our pants. It isn’t perfect, but considering the time constraints, the results speak for themselves. The project won a ‘Jury Award’ at Elon, so it went on to the national competition in Atlanta.

"Period."

This short film tells the story of a woman and her daughter caught in the clutches of a cult leader. I worked on this film as a gaffer. It was the biggest production I had worked on up to that point. It could be described as incredibly artistic.

"Zivan Starr"

This film tells the story of a boy who gets in way over his head at a dance competition to impress a girl. Unfortunately, his lies catch up to him during their final performance.

"Six Times Around"

This is my COM 220 final. It is an interview with my classmate who traveled around the world with her family when she was young. That experience has given her a unique perspective on the planet and her place in it.

"Nobody"

Two women form an unlikely alliance at a comedy club.

This project came to life as a friend’s production final. Everyone pitched in and worked tons of different jobs, but the final product is something everyone is proud of.

Music Videos

"Asheville Funk" by Ryan Barber

I worked on this a few years ago in 2017. It was a unique experience for sure. The ultimate example of gorilla filmmaking. Do you have any idea how hard it is to film on a road when the road is not closed? It’s quite a time. Considering there was less than ten crew, it went remarkably well.

"Come Back" by Ari Yaron

This shoot was with Cinelon Productions in Elon North Carolina and allot of fun all around. When you work on a music video you have to know that the song will be stuck in your head for days or even weeks after. If you ever hear the song again all the memories will come rushing back, good or bad. If you can’t deal with that steer clear of music video sets.

Commercials

Feli Fitness

This commercial was made with the same team that worked on ‘Quick-Fix.’ It was a paid gig for a trainer at Elon named Feli. He has gone on to be a trainer full time and has competed on ‘America Ninja Warrior.’
